The National Urban League is a historic civil rights organization dedicated to economic empowerment, equality, and social justice.

The Urban League of Greater Richmond works to provide economic empowerment, educational opportunities and the guarantee of civil rights for the underserved in the Cities of Richmond and Petersburg and includes the Counties of Henrico, Chesterfield and Hanover.

The Executive Board and staff implement its mission by providing services and programs in education, employment, health, and housing to Greater Richmond communities.

As an affiliate of the National Urban League, we also work closely with our Urban League of Richmond Young Professionals to engage the next generation of leaders within the Central Virginia region.
